How to change the flint
on a S.T. Dupont Lighter

Note: Before you start changing the flint, make sure the lighter is standing straight upright. The flame burner should be always up.

A. Press down the small part on the bridge see images #1 & 2 the bridge will go back, remove the bridge and look inside you will find the small flint as shown in image #2.

B. Replace the flint inside the bridge close the roller see image #3.

C. Now replace back the bridge you removed replace on the same place where you removed image #2 and then push it down and straight slowly till it closed you will hear and feel it closed (the small part in image 1 you pressed down will go itself up and will hold the bridge.) as shown in images #4 & 5.
